We designed XMD software to be easy to use and quick to roll out. Experience has shown that a trial installation is the surest path to success.

Our website demonstrates that the lists of applications, industries, and functions in and for which our XMD software is used are widespread. We know, however, that you want assurance that your investment will in fact result in a rapid rate of return and provide you the benefits you expect.

For the cost of two or three days' engineering time at our standard rates, we will come to your site and:

• give you a sixty (60) day XMD software evaluation license
• install XMD software on your equipment and/or show you how to install
• work with you building forms and procedures
• teach mobile users how to use XMD software
• show you how to analyze and review collected data, and
• provide such other training and engineering as time allows.

We design products that are easy to use. In the trial, we do not overwhelm you with information. Instead, we provide you with the tools and training relevant to operating the system on which the trial is focused, and leave the rest for later as the project expands and rolls out.

Using this approach is the best way we know to provide you hard evidence that we deliver what we promise – including Rapid Mobile Deployment. We work with you to plan an appropriate trial, and when we leave after 2 or 3 days, your mobile workers should be out using the system.

We even give credits against certain initial installation licensing arrangements to customers who first participated in a trial. In any event, however, the training and engineering PenFact provides in the trial is training and engineering that would have been needed in the roll out had there been no trial. So, even without a credit, in the end, your costs come out the same.

Our customers have had major success using this approach, because we know that you put your reputation on the line when undertaking a mobile deployment. You need demonstrable evidence of the soundness of installing XMD, and what better evidence can there be but actual use in your operations.
